C ommittee Members of the Kats Dance Event & Community Team
Kats Dance Events & Community team, also known informally as Kats Dance Fundraisers, is a committee run non-profit group consisting of some key parents from across the academy, and others with links to the dance school.
We try our best to raise funds for a variety of projects, such as community event days and dancing shows including costumes and qualification costs to run these events
We also raise funds for our teachers trainee programme and have launched our Community Support Fund, with an aim to help local families with the costs of dance tuition.
In addition we support other local charities and good causes, including Heywood Food Bank, and Sandon House Community Centre
We regularly attend a variety of community events, including Heywood 1940's day, and the Charities Fete.
All our committee members have DBS / Chaperone licence / First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications
